Time of Year for Sharing

Children’s Justice Alliance serves the children and families of criminal justice involved parents through our Center for Family Success. We offer a range of services to these families from parenting classes to food and housing resources.

Children of incarcerated or justice involved parents face many obstacles to leading a normal life. Among them is poverty. The holiday season can be a stressful time for children and families in the process of reunification.  By giving to the Center for Family Success this holiday season, you can help make it a happy and healthy time for these children and their families.

We are looking for local businesses and community members to partner with us to provide our clients with the toys and clothes they dream of, as well as household items they desperately need. There are several ways you can help: 

  • Hold a toy and/or household item drive. Ask employees and customers to bring in a new, unwrapped item to donate to the Center for Family Success (we can provide you with a list of popular items).  We will distribute these items among our families.
  • Adopt a family as an individual, a business, or a group of friends. We have families of different sizes from which you or your group can choose the one you would like to adopt. When you have chosen your family, we will send you the family’s wish list.
  • Host a fundraiser!  We gladly accept monetary donations to buy the items our families need. We will take care of all the shopping, wrapping and delivery.

Donations are needed no later than December 15th and we will happily arrange to pick up your donated items at your convenience.
