CJA Transition

June 22, 2011
by CJA Admin

It is with both sadness and optimism that we announce that the Children’s Justice Alliance Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Lauren Booth as the CJA Executive Director, effective July 15, 2011.

During Lauren’s leadership, we have seen CJA’s Parenting Inside Out training and sustainability plan implemented and take root. We have diversified and maintained our revenue despite a challenging economy. We have seen the Center for Family Success thrive and partner programs within the institutions prepare parents and families for successful reentry. We have strengthened partnerships and built an image for CJA locally and nationally. We thank Lauren for her role in helping CJA provide families with needed direct services, train others in effective curricula, and engage in collaborative efforts with families and our government and community partners.

We wish Lauren the best as she transitions to her new position with Quality Health Solutions. We are optimistic about her future, as well as the future of the Children’s Justice Alliance. The board is currently detailing next steps in our plan to ensure continued strong leadership and uninterrupted success in our programs. An update about this transition will be announced shortly.

The CJA board, staff and partners look forward to continued collaborations and program accomplishments that will improve outcomes for children whose parents are involved in the criminal justice system.
